Sleman- Student Executive Board of Student Families (BEM KM), PKM Center, Student Activity Unit (UKM) ISR (Interdisciplinary Scientific Research), in collaboration with BEM Faculties at UPNVY held a "PKM (Student Creativity Week) Tour to Faculty" online via Zoom. This activity was carried out on November 1, 2020 in the scope of FEB (Faculty of Economics and Business), November 7, 2020 in the scope of FP (Faculty of Agriculture), and November 8, 2020 in the scope of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI). This activity was held with the aim that students could get information about the ins and outs of PKM and be able to prepare themselves for PKM 2021.

Tri Wibawa, S.T., M.T. as the supervisor of the PKM Center UPNVY explained about determining the topic of PKM research. The research topic requires creativity.

“Just observe the conditions around us and solve the problems around us using the innovations we make. Like when you hang out in angkringan (food stalls), the other people may just eat, but the students change the just eating moment into a creativity by creating a solar-powered stove, for example, you are researching the problem that using a charcoal stove can cause pollution waste, so you come up with creative ideas to create solar-powered stoves”, explained the lecturer at the Industrial Engineering Study Program.

Tri Wibawa, S.T., M.T. adding that in PKM research, tips are needed in determining PKM proposals, such as establishing creative ideas from various sources of inspiration, finding originality and invention opportunities, creative, interesting, contemporary and bombastic titles, and compiling PKM proposals according to applicable guidelines.

"Do not let the proposal that has been made well, but it does not pass the requirements just because of trivial errors such as incorrectly writing the page numbering font," explained Tri, his familiar nickname.
